In Marigot, the capital of St Maarten’s French region, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own. So, feel free to browse the little shops for local handicrafts and souvenirs, or simply sit outside a pavement café and watch the world go by at the typically relaxed Caribbean pace.
Board the Explorer double-decker catamaran at Simpson Bay and cruise out onto the still, glistening water of the huge lagoon. Bask in the sun on deck as the crew point out famous spots on land, and sip drinks from the open bar as you sway to the sounds of Caribbean music.
