Enjoy an atmospheric walk through the charming, hilltop village of Ostuni.
Sit back and soak up the picturesque Italian landscapes as you make your way to Ostuni. When you arrive in the ‘White City’, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were in Greece, with all of its bright, whitewashed houses.
Spread out across three hills, this beautiful town was built to protect the inhabitants from marauding invaders. The entire town is one big labyrinth of twisting shady lanes, stairways, and nooks and crannies.
Strolling through the narrow streets, you’ll begin at the ancient walls. From there you’ll get stunning views of the Adriatic coast and the centuries-old olive trees that separate the town and the sea.
Following the walls to the Old Town’s Piazza della Libertà, you’ll find the Town Hall and Saint Oronzo’s column, and you’ll visit the Cathedral of Assunta, which was built in 1495.
After your walk, you’ll have some free time for a spot of shopping and to explore on your own.
