Admire the lovely coastal scenery as you set off by boat around Îles de la Madeleine.
You’ll travel along the coastline to admire the fascinating red cliffs, as your guide explains the processes that have shaped them. Keep your eyes peeled and camera handy for wildlife sightings as your guide helps to identify the various species of bird that have made the islands their home. Lobster fishing has been an important local industry since 1875 and you’ll have the chance to see how a lobster trap is set and learn how fishing is regulated and protected in the area.
Your boat will also pass the tiny and treeless ‘Entry Island’, home to around 80 people with mainly Scottish descent and the only inhabited island not connected to the rest of Îles de la Madeleine.
