St John NB, Canada

2:30 Hours
Visit the famous Reversing Falls Rapids and trace back over 400 years of history in Canada's oldest incorporated city, in an accessible mini coach equipped with a motorized wheelchair lift.
As you ride through the sights in town, your informative guide will point out the prominent landmarks and historic buildings. They will also bring them to life with stories of the many fascinating personalities and events that made Saint John the greatest little city in the east!
In Wolastoq Park you’ll see a collection of historical statues and stop for spectacular vistas of the harbour. Then you’ll stop to see the location of the Reversing Falls Rapids at Fallsview Park. Your guide will explain that twice daily the powerful tides of the Bay of Fundy rise faster than the Saint John River can empty. When this happens, the mighty tides push the river water upstream, causing the rapids to run in the opposite direction.
You'll continue past Fort Howe, which sits atop a cliff and offers more excellent views of the harbour below. Then you’ll have some free time to browse the Old City Market on Germain Street, where locals have been shopping since 1876.
