It depends where you’re off to. If you’re following the sunshine to the Caribbean or the Canary Islands, we’d recommend packing to keep cool beneath the sun on your winter cruise holiday. You’ll want to pack a swimming costume or swim shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops or sandals, sunglasses, a hat for sun protection, plenty of sunscreen with SPF, plus a fancy and fabulous outfit for our Black Tie evening. If exploring’s on your agenda, make sure to pack a good pair of walking shoes or comfy trainers, plus a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated as you stroll.
If you’re heading to a colder climate, like Norway, Iceland or the Baltic, you’ll want to make sure you’re packing to keep warm. Jumpers, thermals, long-sleeved tops and waterproof trousers are essential. If you’re travelling to a snowy region then we’d also suggest bringing salopettes, goggles, sunglasses, sunscreen and lip-balm – while you might not notice its effects, the sun reflects powerfully off of the snow, so protective measures are recommended.
If you’re going on one of our European city breaks, we’d advise bringing lots of layers so you can wrap up warm and remove some if need be. You’ll also want to bring along comfortable walking shoes, a scarf, hat and gloves, along with a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated as you stroll.
